I'm going back to Shanghai. Vol II

1st of March.

It's final.

And I'm heartbroken.

This is a story about two people in love, walking on different roads that won't cross.

Long time no see.

Just realized how seldom I write here nowadays. I started FBlogging on Facebook by incident and found out that the response from there is so much better. I mean, I know some of my friends read this blog etc. but it doesn't feel like i'm reaching out to you in the same way. I never get any response back about what I've written here, that sucks. If I want to write for myself, I'd probably stick to my diary, there's a reason why I want to go public with my thoughts and get response back.

I'll put this blog on pause till further notice, any questions? Speak up!

I've found a wing-girl!

Met up with K's friend S yesterday, we've met once and don't really know eachother but you know, I need to make new friends so I'm open for every possible suggestion.
I showed up at the warm up in his mate's fancy flat in Prahran. It was nice and people were quite boozy and stuff, talked a lot to different people which names I don't remember anymore. Met a girl, Amy, she was cool and offered to be my wing-girl (:

S got quite touchy and kept stroking along my body telling me that he liked that silky feeling, eh? Told him to back off, like, 20 times, the signals didn't seem to get through though.. He sat next to me most of the time but it didn't stop him from texting me, don't ask me why. Got loads of offers about going back to his place for cuddle and shit. Pulled my polite 'Thank you but no thanks'-line hundreds of time. When I spoke to other people, he started doing that 'Now you're talking to other people, you're ditching me' yada yada. Sigh.

Went to town at last but turned out none of the girls had enough cash, stood outside Loft for ages waiting for the rest to make up their minde, got too sick of it so I decided to write myself off. Waited for taxi for at least 20 min before deciding to walk further up the street. There was another guy standing next to me and I asked where he's heading to. He's a Japanese non-resident who's been here for 10 years because he did lots of shit back home and no school would let him in. He was cool and I promised that we'll hang out.

The taxi that picked us up refused to first drop me off in Richmond and then continue to St. Kilda where he lives so we compromised and I got dropped off at the corner of Richmond. I started walking because I couldn't find a cab, my feet were way too sore for walking at that point so I took them off. You heard me, I walked barefoot. Did that for at least 10min before a taxi took a U-turn and picked me up. Must be the nicest taxidriver I've ever met in Australia. I was so grateful that he picked me up so I paid twice as much and told him to keep the change.

Got home and ate the rest of my bloody good fishgratin.

I'm in love with a friggin rain coat.

I really shouldn't think about it due to the economical crisis and the fact that I haven't worked for 2 months. A rain coat isn't very useful either but dang it's beautiful!

But I'll get it.

Because I can (:

Edit: Forgot to tell that they charge 1k sek for that coat. Not worth it. I know.

Hey!

Just got kicked out from the SLV, can't be bothered to go through that here, already done on Facebook under 'notes'. The staff at the library have one thing in common: their lack of politeness.

I did some Christmas baking yesterday. Don't think it has the same meaning as 'Julbakning' in Swedish. Christmas here doesn't feel genuine nor taken seriously.
I bough 0,5 gram of saffron for saffron buns yesterday. 35 sek. That's sick. It wasn't grounded properly either so they came in 'chunks'.

Result?

Quite pale buns.

The round shaped gingerbreads were marvellous though.
